CIO/CDO Baden-Wurttemberg, Ministry of the Interior, Digitisation and Migration Baden-Wurttemberg

Mr. Head of government department Stefan Krebs CIO/CDO is since 2015 representative of the government for information technology at the Ministry of the Interior, Digitisation and Migration. As a CIO he is responsible for the strategical planning and advancement of the whole internal-IT in Baden-Württemberg. As a CDO he is responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of the department-covering digitisation strategy of the state.

Baden-Württemberg should become a leading region of the digital change in Europe. With the competition “Digitale Zukunftskommune@bw” important impulses are put possibly for the digitisation on site. Initiatives like Digitalakademie@bw, “Digitale Zukunftsdörfer@bw” or Future Communities 4.0 are other important model plans from the digitisation strategy digital@bw to promote the digitisation in the municipality decisively.
